IWA Contest

Why participate?

Obtaining the recognition of the 1st National Wedding Award in Italy means:

- Have greater visibility in Italy and abroad

- Greater credibility having been chosen among the best professionals directly by the spouses or other colleagues who are experts in the sector and by an international jury

- Increase your business

Who can participate?

All companies that work with a regular VAT number in Italy in the wedding sector can participate.

How does it work?

The competition is held in two phases:

  • REGIONAL

- The wedding suppliers will be able to participate in the contest in their home region.

- Following registration and payment of the registration fee of 45 € on the dedicated website, each supplier will have a card with a brief description of the company and one (max 3) photo, created specifically for advertising purposes on the dedicated website.

- Companies that want to participate in more than one category will pay 30 € on the second registration (example: Hair stylist and Make up; Photographer and Videomaker; Invitations and invitations and Favors; Wedding dresses and Ceremony dresses; Music for ceremony and DJ ; etc)

- The national judges will take into consideration the content of the reviews, the sites, social profiles and will be able to ask for further material (photos and information) on the work carried out in order to better evaluate each candidate

- For some categories it will be possible to carry out a technical test;

- The award ceremony will take place in the region to which they belong and will be organized by the territorial wedding planner from 1 October to 5 November 2020 and subsequently the winners will be published on the official website.

The regional semifinalists of each category will be nominated in the national final, and will be able to participate in the awards ceremony and the Gala Dinner.

  • NATIONAL

- The final will take place every year in a different Region in order to promote Made in Italy, Tourism and Destination Wedding.

- The Finalists of all regions will be judged by a national and international technical jury and a press jury

- The evaluation criteria will be: the company website; social media profiles; technical test for some categories and other requests that the judges may request

- The winners will be published on the official website, on the magazine and on the main IW social networks

The names of the judges and the President will be announced online.

Who can vote?

- The spouses who celebrated their wedding between 2016 and 2019 will be able to express their preferences to decide the winners by voting only once for each category. You cannot vote multiple times for the same company.

-All suppliers will be able to participate in online voting, casting their vote only once for each category. You cannot vote multiple times for the same company.

How to participate?

To participate, suppliers must register on the site, and pay the registration fee of 45 €.

They will be able to create a personal account where they can enter information and photos regarding their company. They will receive the votes directly on their ballot.
